The Coming New Year

The tree is down, the stockings put away, and the lights all taken down from outside. It's the end of another year and soon we'll be welcoming 2012. Is it just me, or does it seem like the 90's were only 10 years ago? Someday my grandchildren are going to think I'm old because I was born in the 1980's just like 1930 and 1940 are old to me. Amazing isn't it?

I'm looking forward to another year because my baby will be turning 1 in a few short weeks, February will bring a new bunch of lambs, March through May will bring many new calves, Spring will bring green pastures again, the Summer will bring our other little girl's 4th birthday and the haying season, and then we'll be back to Thanksgiving and Christmas again before we know it.

I haven't made any resolutions. I've decided I'm going to just take it one day at a time and enjoy the year as it comes at me and make some changes here and there along the way. What are some of your New Year Resolutions?

May you have a blessed and Happy New Year to come!
