Simple Sewing Project

Here is a simple sewing project for the beginner or the experienced sewer. I love those grocery bag holders that you hang up and pull out one bag at a time when you need it, instead of the giant mess of bags stuffed under the kitchen sink or where ever they managed to get stashed.

In my very little spare time, I decided to make two of these bag holders, one for the kitchen and one for the nursery to hold bags for the diaper pail. I followed a tutorial that I found here. In between nursings and burpings I manged to get these done fairly quickly. I just used a couple of fat quarters, 18x22 inch piece of fabric, to make these. I just trimmed the bottom piece to the length that I wanted for the bag. Happy sewing!
