Happy Valentine's Day

I would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day a little early since the 13th is actually a very important day for my husband and I. Five years ago today he got down on his knee in the snow and asked me to marry him. He was so nervous while he read the poem that he wrote for me, and I was so excited I was saying “yes” before he was even done!! Silly girl!
For our first date he took me for a drive in his hot rod through the local canyon and then a short hike near some of the waterfalls. From there we went to the local Dairy Queen and spent three hours talking and getting to know one another better. * Sigh* How the time flies by when you’re having fun. I hope you all have a good day and get to spend it with someone you love, whether its your spouse, your family or friends.

Aw, what a sweet story! It is amazing how fast time flies. I remember thinking mine would never propose...it was the longest year and a half of my life. Now here we are into our 3rd year of marriage!

How sweet :) I totally agree with you on how time flies... It drags on and on when you're waiting for something and then when it gets here it's flies by! There's some quote about time is like a rubber band but I don't remember it right now. Love the new look on the blog, I'll be back!!
